Kunickaa Sadanand Evicted From Bigg Boss 19: Calls Tanya Mittal ‘Pampered’ and Addresses Lesb*an Controversy
Recently evicted from Bigg Boss 19, Kunickaa Sadanand shared her thoughts on authenticity among her co-contestants and addressed the controversy surrounding alleged remarks about sexuality. When asked whether she found Tanya Mittal or Farrhana Bhatt more genuine, she did not hesitate to choose Farrhana. She admitted that while she never publicly declared her age, she felt insecure about her more mature perspective compared with others. “I didn’t bring up my age,” she said, “but I certainly felt uneasy due to my experience and age. I never revealed it to them, yet I secretly wept in my bed at night.”
On being asked about Tanya’s “sanskar” (values / upbringing), Kunickaa clarified that what she meant was rooted in self-reliance. According to her, Tanya was “pampered” and had never learned to be independent. She critiqued Tanya’s privileged lifestyle — constantly changing clothes or jewellery — and suggested that children lacking such privilege deserve help. “If she retains such an abundance of clothes and jewellery in a space of 10,000 square feet,” Kunickaa said, “she could donate it to a needy child for their wedding or to girls attending college.” When Tanya reportedly declined, citing possessiveness, Kunickaa called the refusal “repulsive.” She added that irrespective of gender, everyone should learn to cook and be self-sufficient. Addressing the so-called “lesbian controversy,” she admitted that the context for that discussion was never fully presented. She said there had been some conflict, but refused to delve deeper. She felt that further conversation might harm the person involved and the broader community. “I have spoken extensively,” she said, “and the more we discuss it, the more it will affect Malti and the entire community.”
